I like the irony of "setting them straight" when your own world is being rocked! The only people I recall Jesus "setting straight" were the self righteous. Not the orphans or the beggars or the "sinners". It would be easy to hide behind a shell of self-righteousness that would not be born of love. It takes a lot of guts to admit that we don't have all the answers.

Having a conversation with another person as a way to love them where they are. Making the effort to communicate to them in their own language. Making yourself aware of how easy it would be to make them feel like a project and making efforts to avoid that... Looks like love to me.

Welcome back, my friend! It is hard work to blog your own story. Interesting how different this experience is than what you expected. I love the way you put it when you said that their story is theirs to tell if they choose to. That's one of the hardest parts of blogging to me... telling my story without infringing on others stories. Way to go!

Curtis, glad to see you blogged again, have been curious how your Christmas season is going. Glad to hear things are well and loved the conversation between you and Stephen...thought that was priceless, a true teenagers perspective. Looking forward to hearing more.

I am stirred... The void of the grid. The isolation of the bubbles. The vast chasm from the cliff. the sphere in the sky (sun or moon?) with the clouds seems to offer hope, but not quite. The grid disappearing into the distance pulls at the girl's bubble.

The bending of the grid in the bubble is encouraging. It says that the bubbles have influence over their environments.

I decided it is a full moon after all.
