This drawing is interesting. It communicates to me the reality of the difficulty of finding that “someone”. The physics of the universe is off kilter which brings a challenge to connection. And even if the space is bridged then the two individuals are in their own bubble. Great stuff!
I am stirred… The void of the grid. The isolation of the bubbles. The vast chasm from the cliff. the sphere in the sky (sun or moon?) with the clouds seems to offer hope, but not quite. The grid disappearing into the distance pulls at the girl’s bubble.
The bending of the grid in the bubble is encouraging. It says that the bubbles have influence over their environments.
Sirred Paint–and Martin family–taken over for a month!
While this site is usually reserved for posting my artwork and inviting any stirrings it causes in you, I've decided to uses it to capture the art in the experiences and stirrings I experience this month while we host Samanta and Kristaps, 13 and 16 year-old Latvian orphans in our home. Please join us on this adventure by reading along, posting your stirrings--thoughts, questions, ideas, reactions! Let's enjoy the art of the moments of the Christmas season 2012!

Your comments stir me about relationships in my life–wondering about our bubbles–perhaps our beliefs!

I decided it is a full moon after all.
